Exercise Buddy Finder

Privacy

Last updated August 5, 2026.

The short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell anything about you, and you can have it all deleted by asking.

What we hold about members

  • Your email address, which is how you sign in.
  • Which buddies' contact details you have looked at, so we can ask how it went and so we can tell whether a buddy is actually replying to people.
  • Whether your membership is active.
  • Your answers to the few health questions we ask when you join.

Those health questions

We ask whether you take a weight-loss medication and whether a small number of things apply to you, like dizziness or a recent fall. We ask because your buddy is on a screen and not in the room with you, and they should know.

We store your answers as simple yes or no, never as notes about your health. They are never shown publicly and never given to anybody except the buddy you choose to contact, and only the part you agreed to share. We do not ask for your weight, and we never ask what dose you take.

What we hold about buddies

Their profile, their introduction video, their contact details, their certification where they have one, and how quickly they reply. We do not ask about, record, or care about anybody's immigration status or right to work.

Contact details

A buddy's contact details are never sent to your browser unless you are signed in and your membership is active. They are not hidden with styling, they are simply not sent. That means a search engine cannot read them and neither can anyone who has not joined.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your details to anybody, ever.
  • We do not run advertising trackers.
  • We do not record your sessions. We are not in them.

Deleting everything

Ask, and we delete your account and everything attached to it, including the health answers. Use the suggestion button on any page, or email [email protected].

Testimonials

If we ever want to quote you or use your photo, we ask first and we keep a record of you saying yes. Your words and your face are two separate permissions, and you can give one without the other. Change your mind and it comes down the same day.
